s4 ep07 Jesco goes to Hollywood and Miss Anglia 1980

Bob digs out another familiar sight for us Medinner viewers. Fred Dineage in a velvet suit and bowtie looking for more beautiful birds in Norwich. Miss Anglia 1980 couldn't ever be as funny as Miss Anglia 1979 (cf: s4 ep4), but still manages to scale heights of the rediculous. From a progression of images of women trying- and failing- to smile to the fact that Miss Anglia 1979 now seems to have been won by 'a drawing', there are plenty of gags here. Fred makes up words ('embassadress?') and the judges 'beaver away backstage', and the contestants tell some of the most pathetic funny stories you'll ever hear.
